NTV came into being on May 12, 2005. A new face from the previous Nation TV station under the Nation Media Groups arm that has been in existence since 1999.

It has been a popular TV Station in Kenya along with Kenya Television Network, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation among others.

In September 2007, NTV went online with its content to YouTube. Within the first month it received over 325,000 views, three honors, and an average of 4,000 views for every video uploaded.

Kenya ( /ˈkɛnjə/ or /ˈkiːnjə/), officially the Republic of Kenya, is a country in East Africa that lies on the equator. The warm and humid tropical climate reappears further inland towards lake Victoria, before giving way to temperate forested and hilly areas in the western region. The North Eastern regions along the border with Somalia and Ethiopia are arid and semi-arid areas with near-desert landscapes. Lake Victoria, the world's second largest fresh-water lake (after Lake Superior in the US and Canada) and the world's largest tropical lake, is situated to the southwest and is shared with Uganda and Tanzania. Kenya is famous for its safaris and diverse world-famous wildlife reserves such as Tsavo National Park, the Maasai Mara, Nakuru National Park, and Aberdares National Park.

Margaret Wambui Kenyatta (born 1928) is a Kenyan politician. She is the daughter of former Kenyan president Jomo Kenyatta and his wife Grace Wahu. She served as the mayor of Nairobi from 1970-1976 and Kenya's ambassador to the United Nations from 1976-1986.^{[citation needed]}

Caroline Mutoko is a radio presenter with Nairobi's Kiss 100 FM radio station, one of the radio stations under the Radio Africa brand. She presents the early morning program "The Big Breakfast". She used to host it alongside comedian Walter "Nyambane" Mong'are who has since moved to join the government funded Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC). Previously, Caroline worked for Capital FM in Nairobi as a presenter and Marketing Manager.

Caroline has over 10 years experience in the industry and also writes for The Star Newspaper, a subsidiary of Radio Africa. She has been involved in various projects and is known to be an active advocate for civil rights. Caroline attended Loreto Convent Valley Road High school. She has strong family roots and grew up as a devout catholic. Caroline is not married.

Isaac Kiprono Ruto is a Kenyan politician. He belongs to the Orange Democratic Movement and was elected to represent the Chepalungu Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the Kenyan parliamentary election, 2007.
